I love it. Get out of our way.

As an aside, I also believe we are more than a little responsible for the housing crash. We don't care about buying that nice little house in the suburbs with the white picket fence. Booooring.

Actually, there are plenty of people who work as journalists who don't have degrees in journalism. I was one of them.

I think it's what you do that makes you a journalist, not your degree...or the medium you use to publish your stories.

Thanks for checking out Mick's podcast. I should point out that you can listen to more than 1,000 podcasts on SFGate, even though the main page only shows the past week's offerings. On the podcasts page, look over on the left side, where you'll see a list of channels covering news, sports, food, wine, opinion, movies, TV and many other topics. Cheers, Justin

It is interesting to hear folks who are heavily invested in the current paradigm talk about how blogging is not real journalism. They don't seem to have a consistent about what is real journalism and who is practicing it however. Good post!

I think the most important thing to remember is that companies do not blog, people blog. When you are really embracing blogging you are enabling and encouraging your trusted employees to have a global voice. If your employees are not trusted then why are they your employees? If they are trusted, why not encourage them to have a voice?
